Massage Courses for Physiotherapists
ASTB Physio massage courses are designed to enable undergraduate & graduate Physiotherapists to improve their manual therapy skills. Current NICE guidelines advocate manual therapy massage and manipulation in the management of back pain.
Foundation Skills in Massage and Soft Tissue manipulation is a Physio specific course of two days 12.5 hours CPD. This training is for those practitioners who want to work hands-on, note we work with very small numbers so you get intense training.
Bridge to Practice takes your skill a level higher from Foundation Skills, and provides a sports massage certificate to use with your HPC registration. 12 hours suggested practice post Foundation Skills are advised.
